The new Bosch (DC010) digital display is a special high-visibility LCD-gauge and display for accurately and quickly measuring out cuts on the new 4100-series table saws. When installed and calibrated, it magnetically attaches to the saw's robust and accurate SquareLock - Rip Fence to save time and enhance the accuracy of eachand every cut. Designed for maximum trueness, any measurement is accurate to 1/32-inch, while offering readouts in increments of 1/8-, 1/16-, and 1/32-inchand metric within 0.5 mm. The display is manufactured of die cast aluminum to withstand the worst jobsite abuse and climates. Now, carpenters, remodelers, cabinetmakers, and more can look forward to quicker initial set-up prior to cut, infinite repetitive cut capabilities, less material waste and the precision required to accomplish the highest quality work.
This is the EXACT same unit that comes with the 4100DG-09 table saw for 0 more. It works flawlessly and the installation takes about 10-minutes.
The directions for installation are pretty clear, but could be improved. Nonetheless, it was a painless install and I saved 0 by ordering the base 4100-09 and the DG separately.
The unit is deadly accurate and can be set to increments as low as 1/32.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a MUST purchase for Bosch 4000 and 4100 owners!
